where do you currently sell?

right now, i do free pickups at these locations within edmonton:

• southgate mall (5015 111 st nw)

• students' union building @ university of alberta (8900 114 St NW)

i can usually meet wednesday evenings, or saturday + sunday mornings!

depending on scheduling orders and availability, i might also be able to meet elsewhere around the city or reserve items at my next market. feel free to send me a request to chat more!

do you take art requests?

yes! i'm currently taking animal and food commissions for my prints + stickers! 

i also can take baybayin + filipino mythology requests!

i hope to open pet blankets in the near future :)

if you're interested in a print / sticker, just email me at apat.cat44@gmail.com with: 

• a photo of your pet / food

• your request for size (postcard or letter size available)

• whether you'd like a blank background, baybayin, or something else!

if i can take on another commission at the time, i'll make sure to reply with an approximate timeline, as well as printing costs!

how much do you charge for art requests?

because the subject of my designs (especially animals!) can come in many shapes, colours, and sizes, i charge by the hour. this also takes into account if there are multiple animals in the same piece!

my rate is $25 per hour, charged in 15-minute intervals. 

for example, if i take 1 hour and 30 mins to complete:

1.5 hours x $25 = $37.50

can i see what my artwork looks like before printing?

definitely! i'll send over a watermarked sample before printing to give an opportunity to give the a-okay!

how long do your commissions usually take?

the creative process really depends on... 

• complexity of the photo

• length of additional time for requested revisions

• time for research / consultation (for baybayin + filipino mythology especially)

i also intentionally work with another local artist (@itsbyjada) who also prioritizes environmentalism in making the prints, and it may take additional day or two to make the physical copies.)

that said... i do NOT charge for the time spent for printing, just for the creation of the art with revisions + research as needed!

we're at the printing stage, can i change ONE more thing...?

once approved and printing has started, i won't be able to take more revisions (kinda similar to getting a tattoo stenciled vs. getting it inked). so please let me know what you're hoping for before then!

my goal is that throughout this process, we can have time and conversations to try to best match your vision :) i'll make sure that before the printing stage, there will be one last email with a 12-hour window to confirm we are good!

do you do sales / discounts?

if you order custom prints and are comfortable with me using the design in future markets...

i can offer a 10% off discount! (but I totally understand if you'd like to keep it unique and just for you!)

how about art on sale?

i also occasionally have free giveaways and seasonal sales, which will be updated on my instagram!

i also may have overstock of a certain sticker / print, so those will also be up for grabs at a lower cost too :)

i see that you do fundraisers - what's that about?

as part of my ethics as an artist, i strive to work with individuals and organizations who align with my values. this sometimes involves releasing new designs or using current designs to give back to our local and global communities!

i focus on using all or a significant portion of the income from these specific pieces towards these efforts. if you ever have any questions about these orgs / movements, i'd love to connect and / or offer resources!
